How To Solve Error Code 24 During Application Install

Here, in this tutorial we will tell you on how to solve the Error Code 24 during installation of apps into your smartphone. It mainly occurs when you are going to install an app from the Google Play Store on to your android smartphone. It normally downloads the app, start installing the app and at the last it will show you a message shown below:

"Unknown error code 24 during application install"

How To Solve This Error Code

In general, it will show you this message everytime no matter for how many times you have downloaded the app and try to install that app. In certain cases, it might even block the downloading of that app. It occurs because you have already installed that app in your smartphone previously and have uninstalled that app. Now, when you try to re-install that app, it generates a message because it sees the file with that name present already into your smartphone.

Don't worry. There is solution of everything. Follow the below written steps to solve this problem.

Step 1: To do this go to the Homescreen of your Android smartphone, ex: in Samsung Galaxy S5, go to the menu and from there into the settings of the system.

Step 2: In the settings, go to "Application Manager" and then on the tab swipe to "All". You will find it to the far right.

Step 3: Here, you will see all the apps installed in their alphabetical order. Search for Google play store. Now when you find that, tap to open the app information. When the app information is opened, follow the exact thing.

**Force stop --> Uninstall updates --> Clear data**

Step 4: Now leave the settings of your Android smartphones and reboot your phone.

Step 5: After your Android smartphone is rebooted, open the Google Play Store as usual and navigate to the app you want to download. Now there should not be no more errors with "Unknown error code 24 during application install" and the apps will be downloaded properly.

The Google Play Store will re-install after a short time the latest version automatically, but actually there should not be more problems present. If, despite the unknown error 24 appears again, you have to repeat the process above. Hope this way you fix your problem. If you have some other error and want to solve it, write in the comment box. We will try to fix that asap.
