z0r.capture is a free software which helps you in recording your desktop screen. Previously we have told you about recording your desktop screen using vlc media player. The quality of video being recorded using vlc was good, however while recording it makes your system a little slow.

Using z0r.capture, you can immediately start recording your screen without making your system slow. The recorded video can be easily saved in MP4 format. You can use this software to make video tutorials or explain something on your desktop. This software lets you record your screen in full mode which can't be changed. If you want to record a part of your screen, this software is not good for that.

How to use this software

Go to the link provided at the last of this tutorial. Install this software on your PC after downloading its .exe file. Installation of this software is very simple.

Once this software is installed into your system, running this software will open a window just like the below shown screenshot.

Here in the above screenshot, you can see two icons enclosed in a black rectangle. These two first icons are there to start and stop recording of your desktop screen. You can choose the quality of video being recorded before pressing the start button. If you don't do anything, it will start the video recording with 30 frames per second and 2500 kbps which is considered to be good for a good quality video. You can change these values according to the quality of video you require.

The two restrictions i.e. video would be of MP4 format only and you can't record a selected part of your screen made this software look bad.
