How To Add Windows Defender To Your Context Menu

Most of the time people waste their time in searching for a Free Antivirus for their system. You should know one thing that antivirus in general slows down your PC. Therefore unless you are going to visit any un-trusted sites, you should not worry about any viruses or trojan file into your system.

Windows 8 is considered to be more safe than Windows 7 when it comes to viruses attack. For windows, Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) and Windows Defender are two antiviruses which are considered to be good. If you install MSE into your PC, it appears into your context menu. However in case of windows defender, it does not appear. Everytime, you have to open windows defender to scan any folder or USB drive.

Step 2: After downloading this file, unzip the zipped folder and Run the encircled file in the below shown screenshot i.e. AddWindowsDefenderToContextMenu
Step 3: It will open User Account Control. Click on yes there and soon after you can see scan with windows defender in the context menu.

Step 4: You can remove this anytime by double clicking on the Remove option present along with the Add file in the extracted folder.
