How To Add Apps On Lock Screen In Windows 10

Here in this tutorial, we will tell you on how to add apps to your Lock screen in windows 10.

In the previous tutorial we had told you about adding slide show to your Lock screen. Adding Apps to the Lock Screen not only changes its look but also enhances its proper use. Generally we lock our screen only in case of reading or going away from our system so that no one could get access to our PC.

By doing this, we deprive ourselves from certain things which we can get even our screen is locked like message regarding unread mails, calender, time and date, Skype messages. You could also make use of Lock Screen for Camera Purposes too. Let's see on how to do all this.

How To Add Different Apps On Lock Screen

Step 1: Press Win+I. It will open a sidebar in the right side of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom. Here you will see Change PC settings. Click on this. It will open the PC settings window.
Step 2: Select PC and Devices. It will open the PC and devices window in the same window. Now in the PC and devices window, select Lock Screen. It will open the lock screen window.

Step 3: Here on the lock screen, scroll down. You will find Lock screen apps tab here which allows adding apps to your lock screen. Choose among the different apps.
Step 4: You could choose for Unread mails. It will show those mails on the lock screen which comes while the screen is locked or unread mails. You could also opt for Skype, Calender, Alarms etc.

Step 5: This gives an interesting feature too which you can access by scrolling down to the bottom of above screenshot. Using this feature you can access your camera while the screen is locked just by swiping down on the lock screen.

Try these steps by your own and let us know if we miss anything important.
