Here in this article I will tell you on how to solve the crashing problem of windows explorer in Windows 10. It is quite often to see our Windows explorer crash. Many a times our windows become un-responsive just because we have large number of windows opened. and this is why they often crash. It really irritates one while working, reading or doing anything.

It occurs generally when multiple folders are opened at the same time under the same parent windows explorer process i.e. under "explorer.exe". This is completely a good thing however, having opened more number of folders make it crash. You can solve this problem of crashing windows explorer frequently. You can get rid of this problem easily if you open each folder window in a separate process.

Step 1: At first, open your windows explorer or any folder on your computer.
Step 2: Click on View button. It will expand and open too many options. Go to the right and click on Options. It will open the folder options.
Step 3: In the folder options, go to the second tab and click on View. Now, scroll down and tick against the box of "Launch Folder windows in a separate process". 

Step 4: Press Apply and then OK. You are done. Try this out and you will find that the problem of crashing down your windows explorer immediately goes out.
