How To Use Google Android Messenger App

Messenger is a free android messenger app from Google. This messenger looks similar to that of Facebook messenger with advanced features. It lets you send text messages, MMS, photos and audio clips. It comes with material design which is a part of Android Lollipop. 
Searching for contacts here in this app is very easy as it displays all contacts and frequent contacts. You can search for contacts using Manual search too. Uou can also set custom ringtones as well in this app. The other options which are available in this app are enabling or disabling notification for any particular conversation, searching any particular message(s) within a conversation. 
How To Use This Android Messenger
Go to the link provided at the last of this article and download this app on your smartphone. After installing this app, open it. It will show you a cool interface with Material design. Below you can see a screenshot of its screen. There is a (+) icon here in the bottom right corner used to compose a new text, MMS or Audio clips. 

It will open a new interface from where you can choose the contact, you want to send any particular message. The color for each conversation is different which is an unique thing of this app. Again, at the bottom you can see various options. Similar to the Facebook messenger, you can type sms in the blank area or attach any pics, audio or video clips and send it to your friends. 


You can use the top left corner icon to add new contact to your device. You can also use this icon to search for new people, delete existing ones etc. You can mute any conversation using people and option button. Using this, you could also set any specific ringtone, vibration alert for any particular contact. Using this, you can even block any person.

Note: Blocked conversation can be access using the Archive option.


This is the setting interface which can be accessed by pressing bottom left portion of your smartphone. You can see yourself the different options available here. 

This app also gives you features of setting this as your default messaging app, read and send messages using this messenger and many others which you can access by pressing help and feedback options of this messenger. 

Conclusion

Android Messenger is really a good app and it might take the place of other messengers as it has the material design along with so many new features like sending MMS is quite new.
