How To Create A Folder Without Any Name On It

Today, I will tell you on how to create a Folder in Windows 7, 8 or 10 without having a name of it. It might surprise you as whenever you would have tried, it takes New Folder as its name by default. However, there is a way of not having any name of any particular Folder.

Follow the Below written steps to learn on how to create a Folder with having no any name of it.

Step 1: Right Click on the mouse any where on the desktop. Now press on New and then Select Folder. This will create a folder on the desktop with name New Folder.


Step 2: Again, right click on the New Folder. In the Context Menu, select Rename. Now, just press alt and type 0160. The moment you press 0160 while pressing alt button, it will remove any name on it like the above shown screenshot.

Note: You can create folders with strange letters too by following the same method. Just keep pressing alt button and then press some numbers. I have tried it and generate some random files with random number on it. 

You must be thinking, Is there any use of the above mentioned method or is just for fun. Basically, it is a fun but if you want you can make use of this beautiful feature of windows to generate some icons of your own.

Step 1: At first, right click on any icon and then select Properties. It will open a new window. Select Customize here and then go to Change Icon.


Step 2: Select any icon and press OK. Your folder will change into the selected icon with not any name. You can use this methods to generate Book, Disc, Movie, Game and many other folders based on your need.

Conclusion
