Here, in this article we will tell you on how to change your time duration for notification in Windows 10. It was already there in windows 8. We have included methods for both operating system so that you could easily configure your OS. The method is pretty the same in both OS with a slight difference.
You often get notification in windows 10 at the notification bars which is at the bottom right corner of the screen. It alerts you regarding many things which is related to your computer. It fades out too easily sometimes or sometime it doesn't fade for a long time. Both cases are not good as in the first case, you might not even look at it and in the second case, you might get irritated by it as you have seen that already.
Therefore, here we discuss on how to adjust proper time for their appearance on the screen.
How To Change Time Duration For Notification
Follow the below written steps along with screenshots to change the time duration in your windows 8 or 10 for popping up of notification.
1. At first, open the PC settings of your Windows. It could easily be accessed by pressing Win+I. It will open up a side bar to the left of your system. Scroll down to this sidebar. You can see Change PC settings at the right bottom in Windows 8. In Windows 10, it is just PC settings. In either case, you will open up the below shown screenshot.

2. In this PC settings, click on Ease of Access a shown above. It will open up a new sub-section consisting of different options just like in the below shown screenshot.

3. Once you reach up to here, you can see various options. You can change the time duration for Notification starting from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. You could also change the cursor thickness using this method starting from 1 to 10.
That's it. Now, you could easily change the time duration according to your ease.
My Verdict
Getting desktop notification is a very good thing. It lets us know about what we need to do with our PC. However, getting it continuously may irritate us. Similarly if it fades up too soon, we can't even see what was that about. This is why this method seems to be very good. Windows 10 supports all sorts of desktop notifications that are every bit as gorgeous as they are functional. Start using this tweak.
