Command Feature is considered as the fastest way to access anything on windows operating system. Those users who know how to use command prompt always rely on this to fix any problem if came into their system. The main problem which they too face is the problem of copying something on command prompt or pasting some command out there.
While in all other previous version of windows copy and paste is not allowed, windows 10 has come up with solution to this problem. Windows 10 allows this copy i.e. ctrl+c and paste i.e. ctrl+v feature inside the Command Prompt. Let's see how to do this.
How To Enable Copy and Paste Feature in Command Prompt
Follow the below written steps to activate copy and paste feature of yours command prompt in windows 10.
Step 1: At first, open the command prompt on your system.
Step 2: Right click anywhere in the command prompt.
Step 3: It will open the context menu of command prompt.
Step 4: Select properties here.
Step 5: It will open command prompt properties window. Select Experimental Tab.
Step 6: Tick against the Box of Enable new Qtrl key shortcuts. Press OK and you are done. Now you can use all keyboard shortcuts.
Note: After enabling this you could be able to all the keyboards shortcuts which open with ctrl. A list of keyboard shortcuts with their function is given below:
- ctrl +x: Cut
- ctrl +c: Copy
